Story House Production GmbH, a growing film production company in Berlin, is expanding its headquarters and splitting up its departments, which were previously all under one roof. The opportunity to get more space in a former existing building where Story House set up 20 years ago. A complete engineering overhaul was the leitmotif for a complete revision of the outdated office. The former factory building has a wide floor plan and deep rooms, so Studio O took advantage of the double exposition site to let light penetrate into the middle area and rethought the central hallway, turning a dark corridor into a bright communal area. Light enters the space through the newly installed glass portals. The reception area, the coffee corner and the redesign of the corridors have given light and ventilation a new opportunity where people can finally come together.

The production studios have been concentrated on the same floor, completed with a sound studio, set design studio and, together with the extension of the hallway, completed with social areas, providing new opportunities to work on a collaborative basis.
